This week’s theme is Être fort pour être utile. This is a saying coined by Georges Hébert – a solider in the French Navy.
Georges Hébert experienced a volcanic eruption in his town St Pierre in 1902 and coordinated the escape and rescue of several hundred people. He did this using his strength, courage and athleticism which led to him creating the phrase “Être fort pour être utile” or “Be strong to be useful” in English.
Don’t worry, this won’t be an hour or two of workouts, but there will be some strength and mobility involved. We are going to try to get you to work together and see what you can achieve based upon your individual strength, but also your strength as a group!
See you in class Traceurs!!
